Considering the leaps in technology, access to free programs and music covered under Creative Copyright, when I compare my most recent video More Than Just Survival to The Virtual Tour of the Bradner Library, it’s not surprising to see a difference in the quality between the two.
More Than Just Survival
2017 – This was done as part of a professional development workshop on digital storytelling, and because of the nature of the workshop, it is a very personal story, but it shows how my skills have grown with the development of video software as well as my ability to tell a story.
Virtual Tour of the Bradner Library
2006 – My first experience with creating a video was the Virtual Tour of the Bradner Library at Schoolcraft College. Video software was expensive, and all I had was the free Microsoft Movie Maker program. While it looks a little clunky and dated, it was a fairly good video for the time period.
